Dechlorinators

The purpose of a dechlorinator is to remove chlorine.

Typically it is used when mixing up fresh water with salt mix.

We dont use it anymore because all of our fresh water is treated from Reverse Osmosis, which removes the chlorine along with nearly all other contaminants.

Some people do use it when their tap water is very clean and uncontaminated and they can use their fresh water as their source of makeup water.

But most municipal water systems should be processed throught RO or DI and not just dechlorinated.
